IIRC the internal models of scandoublers only allowed for PAL screenmodes
to be displayed. This made Multiscan modes unusuable.
However, forget all the above as you're getting an external one anyway.
It should all work fine and you'll be able to promote any 15khz mode (PAL,NTSC
in any display size) and the 31khz modes (as long as you use VGA only).
You'll love a SVGA monitor btw.
